The spectacle, which runs this year from Friday to Sunday, July 5-7, attracts around 78,000 visitors per show and some of this footfall heads for the antiques and vintage village run by Love Fairs in the showground’s John Hendry Pavilion (see picture above taken at last year’s show).

Organiser Donny Mann, who also runs the successful antiques and vintage fairs at Lingfield Racecourse and Brighton Racecourse, said: “It really is an amazing event with very high visitor numbers, so along with the usual antiques fair visitors, it’s a great opportunity to bring antiques and vintage to a new and wider audience.”

Most of the 50 exhibitors stand at the organiser’s other two fairs. They include local dealer Debbie Sargeant from The Antiques Barn in Bethersden and Colin Thornby with vintage kitchenalia and French rustic pieces.
