They include this late 18th century gold and specimen hardstone 'Steinkabinett Tabatiere' bonbonniere, left, by the master Saxon court jeweller, Johann Christian Neuber.

The box was last recorded as being sold in the Ball-Graupe sale in Berlin in 1927, and has come to the present vendor by family descent.

Estimated at £200,000-300,000, it is among the highest-value pieces Dreweatts have ever offered.

The collection will complete an international touring exhibition throughout November prior to the auction in London. It will be at the Bloomsbury offices in Milan from November 9-11, at Mallet New York from November 19-21 and at Mallet London from November 27.
