The celebration is to boost the society's 50th anniversary appeal, raising funds to support research and publications on furniture.
This special party is sponsored by art dealers Apter-Fredericks, H.Blairman & Sons Ltd, Giles Ellwood, Pelham Galleries, Philip Hewat-Jaboor and Ronald Phillips Ltd.
Ticket holders will see furniture including the famous Nile suite, made in 1803 to commemorate Nelson's victory at the Battle of the Nile (1798), and Dutch Old Master pictures bequeathed in 1987 by Lord (Harold) Samuel of Wych Cross.
The event runs from 6-8pm.
Tickets for members and non-members, including champagne, drinks and canapés, are £50 each, or £40 each for two or more, and are available from events@furniturehistorysociety.org or at 07775 907390.
