We're recruiting for a highly organised and proactive valuer to join our growing
team in Penzance. We're looking for a general valuer, however, a specialism would
be an advantage.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced staff to ensure Antique
Sales are catalogued, photographed, appropriately marketed and uploaded to live
bidding platforms on time.

Key tasks and responsibilities
The main purpose of the role will be to take in and catalogue lots for our bi-monthly Antique Sales, working to tight deadlines:

- Managing in-house valuation appointments
- Responding to and overseeing antique sale online valuation submissions
- Receipting clients auction entries
- Assisting with probate & insurance valuations
- Liaising with carriers
- Researching and cataloguing auction entries
- Preparing condition reports
- Post-sale enquiries

Skills and experience
- Minimum 2 years auction house experience
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Strong client communication and administrative skills
- Rostrum experience is not required but advantageous
