Earlier this year, the independent school merged with nearby St James’s School and has been renamed Malvern St James. Two years ago, Malvern Girls College was the venue for Two Cs annual traditional antiques fair.

The fair there in 2005 was put on hold due to building work, but this year they were back at the venue on Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 22 with the college’s maximum of 45 dealers including Hartley Fine Art, Bayliss Antiques from Ludlow, Bristol’s Brian Ashbee and Trivette Fine Jewellery.

Said Two Cs Stephanie Castell: “It was a very good fair with plenty of money changing hands. Lots of furniture sold, particularly dining tables, chests of drawers and upholstered chairs and silver, metalware and paintings were popular too.”

The Two Cs, who also run fairs at Ludlow and Hereford Racecourses, have an antiques and collectors fair on Saturday, November 11 at Stone Manor Hotel, Kidderminster. Tel: 01544 267481.
