The New York-based firm made the announcement after winning court approval on the currency motion (to pay claimants in the applicable currency where they reside) that they filed in mid-April.
The next step is for the judge to issue a distribution ruling, setting out how the compensation pot should be divided among claimants.
“Counsel will be submitting a motion for distribution to the court shortly,” revealed GCG’s Thierry Lamour. “We anticipate payment to be made to class members in July or August of this year. Once the judge approves the motion for distribution, we will begin the distribution process.”
