New TV show to bolster antiques
08 March 2010
A FORTHCOMING BBC series aims to highlight the attractions of scouring auction rooms and antique shops.

Cracking Antiques, presented by interior designer Kathryn Rayward and antiques expert Mark Hill, will receive a primetime slot on BBC Two this spring.

According to the pre-screening publicity, Cracking Antiques “shows that spending wisely on secondhand objects can be a cheaper and superior alternative to much of what the better-known chain stores have to offer and, in comparison, antiques are well made and built to last, so are also a much more environmentally sound investment”.
