The Tiffany Studios c.1905 table lamp that sold for £35,000 at Denhams.
Retaining its original Edison Patent light fittings stamped 250 V 50 C.P and Bakelite Bryant switches, both the bronze telescopic base and the domed-shaped glass and bronze Snowball pattern shade were stamped for Tiffany Studios New York and numbered 481 and 1571-1 respectively.
It measured 2ft 2in (66cm) high.
Consigned from a private source and offered with an estimate of £30,000-60,000 at the auction on February 11, it sold for £35,000.
