The announcement comes just a month after Patrick Seguin, his fellow Parisian dealer in 20th century design, revealed that he was to open a London gallery in Brook Street, just round the corner from Davies Street.
Both dealers will retain their Paris galleries. Dutko runs an intimate gallery in rue Bonaparte in the heart of the Left Bank dealers' district and another on the nearby Ile Saint Louis for displaying larger pieces.
Last year Phillips auction house, who have a strong leaning towards Contemporary art and 20th century design, moved their London auction HQ from Victoria to a state-of-the-art building that sits on one side of Berkeley Square in Mayfair.
PAD, the well-known, French- run fair devoted to 20th century art and design, also holds its London staging in the square every October.
Dukto's gallery opening, which is scheduled for October 8, takes place just before this year's London PAD, from October 14-18.

"The prospect of sharing some of the rarest findings from the Art Deco period with the London market is an exciting one," says Dutko of his new enterprise.
"I have spent over 30 years researching and writing about the Art Deco movement and sourcing pieces with a particular history and provenance for our exhibitions in Paris and international fairs. I felt it was time to expand and share this expertise and passion with the Londoners.
"Mayfair has become a hotspot for design and I hope our new gallery will be an exciting addition to the district's burgeoning art and design landscape"."
Dutko's inaugural exhibition in Davies Street will showcase major pieces by big Deco names alongside Deco-inspired contemporary works. It includes several works by Eugène Printz, whose work he has championed and resurrected, as well as an ebony and bronze desk covered in python skin by Marcel Coard.
