02 September 2013Written by ATG Reporter

Dreweatts & Bloomsbury Auctions are to hold a pilot sale of Contemporary Chinese art in partnership with Yourun International (UK) Art Investment & Management Ltd, a London-based arts and cultural institution specialising in promoting emerging Chinese artists.

From September 2-7, 150 contemporary Chinese works will be exhibited at The Mall Galleries in London, culminating in an auction on the 7th staged by Dreweatts & Bloomsbury.

Many of the artists have not exhibited internationally before. Among the highlights is this 4ft 9in x 3ft 7¼in (1.45 x 1.1m) oil on canvas from 2012, Unseen Scenery IV, by Fang Zanru, which is estimated at £20,000-25,000.
