17th century Flemish tapestry in Milton Keynes

MK Auctions are selling a Flemish verdure tapestry at their sale on May 5.

Depicting a Heron in a classical landscape within a floral and foliate border, it has been dated to c.1650.

It was bought by the vendor 15 years ago from a dealer who conducted house clearances and it comes in a glass frame.

Estimate: £1500 - £2000.

The sale will take place in Husborne Crawley, a village which borders the Woburn Abbey estate in Bedfordshire.
