Barbara Kirk’s first auction of antiques, jewellery and collectors items in Penzance will take place on March 19.

The base of the 5in (12cm) Russian drinking
vessel is set with a 1757 Empress Elizabeth coin and a pierced
handle set with an emerald and moonstone. Estimate: £4000-5000.
