Museum donation helps make fashionable acquisition

11 February 2013Written by ATG Reporter

The Design Museum has made its first significant fashion acquisition thanks to a donation by Jill Ritblat through the Art Fund.

Items from the 1970s to the '90s, including pieces by Chanel and Vivienne Westwood, are included.

Items from the collection are on display at the museum's latest exhibition, Extraordinary Stories about Ordinary Things, and will feature in the first show at the new museum in Kensington when it opens in 2015.
