Estimated at £10,000-15,000, this silver-gilt and ivory guilloché enamel desk clock by Carl Fabergé sold for £65,000 at George Kidner in Lymington, Hampshire.
Measuring just over 6in (16cm) wide,
the fan-shaped clock with an easel-back was marked in three places
for the workmaster Michael Perchin and housed a double barrel Swiss
jewelled lever movement numbered 67466 and signed Hri Moser et
Kidner's vendor at the sale on July 25 was a
descendant of the family member who had bought it sometime before
The buyer's premium was 17.5%.
