Last month, we reported that seven of the 22 galleries on Cork Street in Mayfair were informed in August that their leases will not be renewed next year.
Although redevelopment plans are not set in
stone, an online petition has been launched, needing 10,000
signatures before September 30 to take the issue to parliament to
potentially stop the development.
At the time of writing, it had around 4000
signatures.
