This papal skull cap or zuchetto will feature in the fine art and antiques auction at Peter Francis of Carmarthen on May 29.
Once belonging to Pope Pius XII, head of the Catholic Church
from 1939 until his death in 1958, it has appeared on the Antiques
Roadshow, where it was valued at £3000-5000.
