JAMES Murdoch is stepping down from the board of Sotheby’s to concentrate on his role with his father Rupert’s TV networks.
The auction house announced the move in a filing to the U.S.
Securities and Exchange Commission at the end of last week, saying
that Mr Murdoch had decided not to stand for re-election at
Sotheby's May 8 annual meeting.
