Corporate art collection comes to market

Richard Winterton Auctioneers of Lichfield, Staffordshire will be offering for sale on July 5 a corporate collection of original artwork to include works by Vida Gabor, Jean Chaleye, Sue Ryder and Byron Howard among others.

Illustrated here is a large oil painting of the Palazzo Uguccioni in Piazza Signoria, Florence, by Peter Kuhfeld, an English figurative painter who came to prominence in the mid 1980s as an up-and-coming member of the New English Art Movement.

Measuring 4ft 5in x 9ft 10in (1.36 x 2.1m), the work has an estimate of £2000-3000.
