A David Hockney (b.1937) print is the highlight of The Cotswold Auction Company’s sale in Cheltenham on August 29.
he signed and dated work from 1961 of the
artist beside Mahatma Gandhi and Walt Whitman was the first print
made on Hockney's arrival at the Royal College of Art, London.
