IACF apply for one-day event in Essex

28 February 2011Written by ATG Reporter

INTERNATIONAL Antique and Collectors’ Fairs have applied to Epping Forest District Council for planning consent to hold three one-day fairs this year at the North Weald Airfield, near Epping in Essex, one of the UK’s most heavily populated counties.

If agreed, this would add a fourth Monday fair to the organisers' portfolio of one-dayers, which run at Swinderby Airfield in Lincolnshire, Newbury Racecourse in Berkshire and, as previously announced in February, a new venue at the Hertfordshire Showground, St Albans.

The airfield, a key fighter base during the Battle of Britain, already hosts a number of other events, including air shows, classic and sports car and garden shows.
