Burglary at Cotswolds centre

01 February 2011Written by ATG Reporter

ANTIQUES including silver was stolen in a raid on a Cotswolds antiques centre in the early hours of Wednesday, January 19.

The burglary was at Windsor House Antiques Centre in High Street, Moreton-in-Marsh. Police were alerted at 3.45am when the raiders broke in, apparently forcing entry through a wall.

Police said a number of high-value items were stolen but – given that antiques from many different owners were stolen – last week officers were still working to produce an inventory of stolen items.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident number 38 of January 19.
