NATIONAL Antiques Week runs from November 23-30, and a number of dealers have already announced events to mark the occasion.
On Wednesday, November 25, The Edenbridge Galleries (www.edenbridgegalleries.com) in Kent will be hosting an illustrated talk with Lennox Cato and John Lusk of Mrs Monro Ltd on How the interior designer works with the antique dealer. They will also be holding a “Guess the Value” competition for various antiques with a prize of a bottle of champagne. All visitors will be offered a glass of wine and Mr Cato hopes to have the Edenbridge Galleries gift vouchers ready for the event.
M.D. Cannell Antiques (www.norfolkrugs.co.uk) of Raveningham, Norfolk, are hosting an exhibition entitled Eastern Carpets in the Western Home from November 21-29.
Havard & Havard (www.havardandhavard.com) of Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan, will host an antiques quiz every day on November 26, 27 and 28.
