Golding Young have acquired fellow Lincolnshire auctioneers Eleys.
All sales will now take place at Golding Young’s Grantham rooms, with Boston-based Eleys taking consignments and holding valuation days at The Princess Royal Sports Arena.
Both auctioneers are long established; Eley was founded in 1882, Golding Young in 1900.
The acquisition brings two major benefits to clients. Eleys will now be regulated by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors under the Golding Young banner and Golding Young’s standard vendor commission is five per cent lower than that of Eleys.
