Meanwhile Southwark Council are halving the price of stalls at the Friday market to encourage traders to stand at the market.
For June, July and August, these will now be offered at £20 per stand, which includes the stall rental. Stands normally cost £30 with a £10 stall rental.
The offer is on a first-come-first-served basis.
