Hoping, like Lyon & Turnbull, Dreweatts and Fellows & Son to benefit from both the increasing premiums and minimum lot value now being enforced by Sotheby’s and Christie’s, the Fernhurst, Sussex salerooms have recently opened a valuations office within The Arcade, Chelsea, with plans for two specialist Fine Art auctions in March and September at a location in central London.
The arcade opposite Chelsea Old Town Hall, will be open every day with a dedicated valuations day every Friday. Auctioneer and valuer Aubrey Dawson has been appointed as the London representative and he can be contacted using the existing Nicholson’s phone number.
