Aqueduct get set for a steady flow of lots

NEW auctioneers Aqueduct Auctions are holding their first sale on Saturday, June 16 at the Methodist Chapel, Froncysyllte, near Llangollen.

The saleroom is managed by Colin Knights, who has been in the antiques trade for more than 20 years and was a former specialist cataloguer for Stanley Gibbons.

Conducting the auctions will be Michael Bain, a former chairman of the National Entertainment Agents Council of Great Britain and, more recently, senior partner and auctioneer at Lloyd Cameron and Partners (Warrington Auctions).

The collectables and fine art auction includes English ceramics, Moorcroft, Beswick and Royal Doulton, antique furniture including longcase clocks and other collectables.
