The pieces of appeal to collectors included a Newlyn copper easel photograph frame with a dragon border which made £380; a silver marrow scoop which took £110 from an overseas buyer; and an interesting, if badly damaged, blue transfer printed pottery bowl with cover and stand. This last, inscribed Remember them that are in Bonds and decorated with a print of a kneeling slave by J.W. Le Grand, was dated 1816 and sold at £190.

Two small glass collections attracted interested from an Australian collector with five opaque twist glasses selling at £580 and two Sunderland Bridge goblets fetching £420.
