BUSY Florida-based organisers Bob Smith and Dolphin Promotions hold one of the Midwest’s top antiques events from August 27 to 29 when the 29th annual Chicago O’Hare Summer Antique Show & Sale returns to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.

More than 200 dealers from 38 American states, as well as from Canada, Europe and South America stand at this fair which offers a wide range of works.

Most of these will be priced in the middle range but some items will cost in excess of $100,000.

At the same venue and concurrent with the antiques show, for the fifth year Dolphin present their Chicago Vintage Clothing & Antique Textile Show which features period and 20th century fashion, costume jewellery and accessories as well as antique fabrics.

Weekend admission to both shows is $10.
