Picture postcards were available on the Continent in the mid-1860s and were licensed by the Post Office in the UK in September 1894, so there is plenty to choose from.
Organised by The Postcard Traders Association, the fair will see more than two million cards on sale from around 100 dealers, mainly from this country but with some from Europe, America and Australia.
Entrance is £5 on opening day and £3 thereafter.
