As of February 4, Malcolm
F. Ivey became owner and president of the 160-year-old company, which will now be known as Ivey-Selkirk.

The change is a by-product of the sale of Phillips de Pury Luxembourg, the world’s third largest auction house, to its two top executives. Ivey joined Phillips-Selkirk in February 2000 as managing director and furniture specialist but he was not new to the company as a Phillips employee. He had joined Selkirk’s out of college in 1973 and worked there for 12 years before embarking upon a career in personal trust management.
