The Packing Supervisor will play a crucial role in the Delivery Team, responsible for;

  • Producing delivery schedules and reports for the Delivery Manager
  • Maintenance of documents such as Operations Manuals, contracts and insurances
  • The on-going management of Packer/Drivers
  • Improving delivery process flow

Reporting to the Delivery Manager the successful candidate will primarily be based at ATG Media's headquarters in London. Regular travel will be required to visit; Packer/Drivers at packing locations, auction houses, carrier partners and packaging suppliers.

Essential criteria:

  • Previous experience in packing or freight forwarding or carrier network positions
  • Proven track record supervising or managing individuals remotely
  • Experience in working remotely and without direct supervision
  • Full UK driving licence

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, organised and have great attention to detail. Excellent communication and problem solving skills will be the key to success in the role. Knowledge and experience of the auction industry coupled with knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations would be a distinct advantage.

Representatives are required to both operate and provide on-site training for our internet bidding console at live auctions in:

  • The Midlands (between Birmingham and Manchester and surrounding areas)
  • South East (covering London and the Home Counties)

A professional auctioneer able to demonstrate a high level realisation value and work at speed and under pressure at time to meet client deadlines etc with experience of selling live online and in the room.
